While looking for a sample of cobalt blue glass, I surfed the Blenko site, which isn't all that good a web-site, but I know they make good glass because my mother and Don, her erstwhile boyfriend, drove there one time to get some glass. They do have factory tours, which sounds interesting, but not during the first two weeks of July. Which reminds me of when we were at the Walters museum last weekend, I heard a Japanese woman asking then the main building will be reopened. The docent told her, two years. And the woman said, "but I've travelled such a long way just to see ---" whatever it was. All the docent could do was shrug her shoulders. Plan ahead!!
