Zs, I called Dell and the flacks I got didn't know about any such situation. Of course, they also didn't know about an Intel chip delay that will cause them a 4 week delay on one of their desktops, so I think we have the three monkeys answering the phones. I have calls into some sources, but they work during the day, so I'll have to wait on that. Sounds a lot like a rumor to me. MU has plenty of problems with mfg., as do all DRAM cos. going to ever smaller shrinks, but they all test the chips pretty good before they deliver them to important clients.
