PTXX has justlaunched thier website at phagetx.com. I hav done alot of homework on this company and am long stock. Phage is a naturaly occuring bacteria that eats other bacteria. it was discovered before penicillian and was usd before antibiotics took over, It has been and is used in eastern Russia for over 50 years. The original cliams to fame in the 1920,s were out there, but the science was solid and phage was successfuly used to treat diarehha. The problem was tha phage was and is bacteria specific. To simplify, if you have an ear infection then an ear phage had to be used. Along came antibiotics, tested under the US standards and phage got put on the back burner. Now there is a tremendous amount of antibiotic immune bacteria out there. Everyone is hearing about superbugs. people are dying, hospital wings are closing, etc, and the porblem is getting worse. Antibiotics are and will be a short term solution, as the bacteria will continue to develop resistance against them and will grow stringer. Phagetx has products ready to go through proof of principle and offsite manufacturing. They have fantastic managment, great stock structure and a large financing in the works. I am also now hearing rumors of a merger/ takover. Check these guys out.
