How about CEO confidence numbers ?: biz.yahoo.com An excerpt: "..The Conference Board said more than three out of four executives expected increased profits over the next year, although only 5 percent planned to boost profits through price increases. Nearly half expected profit gains to come from cost reductions, while 41 percent cited new technology. Nine percent of respondents foresaw increased market demand as the main source of increased profits..." - I wonder what 'cost reductions' might mean ? <g>
