Yeah, GMAI was a dream trade. APII is too deserving of attention to actually get it.

Hey HITS just indicated at 24 1/4 X 20. 8.5 mil shares are too many for this IPO climate.

AHWY got first mention on CNBC. . . like I predicted. . .popped nearly two points on that mention. . . I expect more, too. . . as they like ANYTHING that mentions AOL, it seems.

William, What do you know about Platinum [the metal]? I am getting that tingly feeling when I think about it. . . and you know what that means.

Here is the conscious side of the feeling. . . .the primary demand for gold has always been jewelry. . .with the secondary being industry. . . .whereas platinum has traditionally had limited industrial use and modest personal demand for jewelry and whatever.

Now, we are seeing countries going cash on their gold reserves. . .which is putting enormous pressure on the price. . .likewise, with the Russians unloading above and below the counter. . .the market is getting flooded with the stuff. . . . and personal demand is not what it used to be. . . though industrial demand is still strong but a drop in the bucket, compared to what personal demand has the potential of becoming. . .when the FAD factor is figured in. . . I remember the 80's gold fad very well.

Now. . . here is where it gets interesting. . . I am seeing a STRONG trend in the jewelry retailing trade AWAY from gold and toward platinum. Not just in high society. . . but on the "street" . . .young people are "preferring" platinum. . . and though that doesn't sound significant, it is what "sets" a trend.

I don't have a clue what this potential could become, should this trend continue or even grow over the next 6 months or so. . . but I am clearly getting the feeling that what gold was to the 20th century. . . . platinum will be to the 21st century. . . . it LOOKS, feels and sounds new millenium.

I don't have quick access to any long range charting on it. Perhaps you do. I'd love to hear what you think about it after looking over chart for any sign of upward movement over last 6 months.

William, I predict Yahoo will come in right AT the .08 cent earnings, thus falling well short of .11 cent whisper number. I think that page views will be reported lower. I also think that most of the lower trading of Inets has already figured this disappointment in. . . .

However, I also predict that YHOO will announce a 2-for-1 stock split tonight. And this will be a re-lighting of the pilot light to get us back to cookin' with gas.

So, at this point, I think we are at the lows [NEAR-TERM only] have just been hit about 15 min ago. . . . .and that upon a 2/1 split announcement. . we will open with some MAJOR gap ups. . . .I also think we are already seeing the start of a sprint higher in internets before the close.

There are only small indications that this is going on. . .and certainly no such news. . . . but that is the feeling I get.
