A private message in the message center screen is removed with the "remove" option. Otoh if you are reading the full text of the message it says "delete". Other references to deleted messages are in trash. Seems like there needs to be a little more consistency. BTW if you standardize on trash then you don't need a different word remove or delete. Just put a little trash can there or the word trash, email packages do that and people know what to do. Otoh if you choose delete then the trash folder might be better named "Deleted".
