Re: "To be fair, Joe Kernan was pretty enthusiastic about Intel's earnings last quarter. The consensus on the show
at that time was that the earnings were a nice upside surprise."

I think Kernen is kool and he will admit when a sector or a company is out of his league. Good sense of humor too. David Faber same. It's those mid-day clowns, like Griffith, David and Pisani, especially Pisani, that ought to be banned from saying anything on TV.

Kernen again, Ten might get a kick out of this, since he just fessed up to getting into Rambus stock: when discussing Rambus and trying to describe what they do, he said let's see Rambus: they have a Ram, and they have a bus. The end. Well, you had to be there.

F.Simons - Re: "To be fair, Joe Kernan was pretty enthusiastic about Intel's earnings "

Joe Kernan is a pretty straight shooter - in fact, he's my favorite CNBC personality.

I REALLY LIKE his detailed DIGS at AMD every time they report their latest financial SCREW UP - Kernan just waxes on and on about how screwed up this company (AMD) is !
