Pakistan is showing clear immaturity as a possesor of nuclear weapons. Pakistani civilian and military leaders have threatened the world that they may use nuclear weapons. (bluffing or not is not not the question) They seem to be unable to comprehend what that may do to pakistan. It only seems that pakistan is hell bent on inflicting damage to india even if it means that pakistan may never exist again. Indians on the other hand realize the impact of nuclear weapons and have made a concerted effort not to escalate the situation, and have avoided a larger and a nuclear conflict. If india was as irrational as pakistan then kargil would have been over a long time ago. " It needs to be emphasized that nuclear strikes devastate the environment." Let me say this again ... what may happen to pakistan should be more of a concern than india should be. Indian statements that they may have to cross the LoC definitely has taken into consideration that, that would be an act of war. The only retaliation from pakistan to that would be nuclear weapons, since pakistan has already ceded that they are no match to the indian conventional weapons. Given the fact that for pakistan this insane undertaking can only lead to it launching nuclear weapons, indians are not lulled by anything, not even a lullaby. If it keeps you happy to keep harping that "Indians... lull themselves into feeling that... Pakistan is bluffing about using nuclear weapons against India" then please continue. You are always welcome to be broken record.
