I have always looked at the brisket and wondered how tough it was...is it?

Thanks Carol,

From time to time our local supermarket has those beef briskets on sale for .99 per lb.

They are usually around 10 to 12 lbs so they will feed a small army. I did one last year and marinated it. If I do one this year I wouldnt like to try this.

I was looking for the computer thread since I was adding a 2nd computer and connecting it to a hub to access my cable modem when I noticed this thread.

I just made my first BBQ sauce...I don't have a recipe so I just put the following ingredients together.

Catchup
balsamic vinegar
mollases....I think I would have preferred br.sugar?
salt
pepper
cumin
worcestershire
garlic powder granulated
cayenne
paprika
hickory smoke
beer

seems like it needs to sit now? I put it in the oven for a little while?

Can someone please direct me to a good recipe? Or give me a few hints..I like Thompsons...and ofcourse bullseye type sauces.

clueless? Smells great....just stirred and turned oven down very low...I think I added too much cumin?

Jeff
