Ron, that's hilarious. I did tech support work P/T for an ISP in Miami and have a few stories as well.

I would ask this lady to re-boot her computer that she said she had for about three years. after a lot of aggravation of trying to get her to do a warm boot, I asked her to re-boot the computer by turning it off/on. She would do this and about a second later say she still had the same thing on her screen. I figured after a while she was just turning the monitor off/on. So I asked her to find the power button for the CPU, she couldn't. I got so fed up after about 30 minutes and told her to call the PC vendor. I thought after the call that the computer never got shut off for the three years she owned it. She was also elderly and hard of hearing. I tried my best without losing my mind! Everyone one in the room was wondering why I was yelling at the phone :-) She kept saying she couldn't here me!

I have a lot more.
OK one more.
Enjoy!

One time at the Company I work for I helped out in the help desk and received a call with a bad Keyboard from a CRT/Dumb-Terminal. I asked her to turn the Keyboard upside down for the Serial Number to have IBM replace it. She said she had to get someone to help her, I thought whatever. She got some help and I heard some noise <grunts> in the background and found out they were turning the monitor upside down. Jeesh...:-)
