Surgical Safety Products, Inc. Successfully Completes Private Placement
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 1999--Surgical Safety Products, Inc. (SSP) (OTC BB:SURG - news) announced today that it has successfully completed its private equity placement. The proceeds from the transaction totaled $475,000.00, and will be used by the Company for working capital requirements related to the expansion of its operations. Terms of the placement were not disclosed.

Frank Clark, President and CEO of SSP, stated, ''We are delighted to have completed this financing effort. It will now enable us to concentrate on deployment efforts of OASiS Touch-Access(TM) Information Systems to hospitals.''

The securities offered by the Company in the private placement will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

Surgical Safety Products, Inc., is the originator and marketer of OASiS, an industry leader in providing Touch-Access Information to hospitals. OASiS is an information delivery and collection service for healthcare workers.
