This is really stupid. Can you guys ever be capable to
combine two parameters into one formula? Can you ever
get it that the top chip frequency is simply
a PRODUCT of process AND architecture? For a
retired woodworker or fab technician it may be
hard to understand implications, but for a Ph.D
Yousef? Geez, what a disappointment...

The difference between processes with the same
feature size differs at most by plus-minus 10%
in switching performance, while the amount
of combinatorial logic between pipeline latches
may differ by ANY AMOUNT dictated by underlying
chip architecture. I repeat, ANY AMOUNT!
Have you ever asked yourself
why Cyrix chips can't get above 300MHz even
if made in the best process available?

Think a bit, PB, think.
