Ken, With the increased demand for natural gas in North America due to both electricity deregulation and the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, in the industry we estimate that gas usage will rise 30% by the Year 2008.

Currently we use 22 tcf annually in North America. That means by the Year 2008 we will be using 29 tcf of gas. Or the e&p industry must keep current production steady and also increase production another 7tcf of gas annually.... That is a "shitload" of natural gas...
