Researcher,

That was a good fair assessment of Cabletron's strength and weaknesses in my opinion. Bob who was a great sales motivator turned into a liability before he left. Craig was a real good cash counter that established Cabletron as a billion dollar company but also turned himself into a liability because he lacked vision of the industry.

Let's hope that Patel has the foresight to align himself and Cabletron with a world-class company like Siemons or Lucent so that Cabletron's many unpolished gems can shine in the future.

Cheers,

Steve

CS is to CSCO as AMD is to INTC
(p.s. I always thought Siemens would buy AMD too!)
A trading stock fueled on optimism.

CS @ 7 7/8 and waiting

hi researcher, thank you so much for your post here and on glenn's site... as always i am terribly impressed with your dd, i think the article is a very interesting one...

it makes me wonder... was the jagnotes rumor just a bit premature... causing a startled siemens to say no way... even though there is indeed a way...

next few days should be interesting... any thoughts on what will happen to cs price if no announcement before earnings next tuesday?

thanks again for sharing your excellent dd...

kathy :)
