MM, The derivatives disaster may not happen. But if it does, there will be no warnings signs other than those we already see, which are non-specific, vague and rather generic (mostly because we can't find out what they are actually doing). Valuations are never an oxymoron. It is just that the herd tends to believe some stories about earnings that are not going to happen, and then give those not going to happen eps top dollar valuations. I still see a move that will make last fall look like a day at the beach.
