I have been using freerealtime.com feeds. Everyonce in a while you get suspended and have to get it reactivated via a form on the freerealtime site. As far as Internet Explorer???Whats that :-)

Well, I guess we see what having "on topic" discussions in here does for our DGIV! <g>

Hope everyone else had a great day! I did...playing "Domestic Goddess" and studying my "homework" <grimace>!!!

Hey, Howard...how's it going? <g>

E!

** OT ** Medved QuoteTracker/IE

QuoteTracker uses some of IE's components to communicate over the web but it DOES NOT require it to be installed. You can download a small installation file from our site that sets up just the components needed for QuoteTracker without installing IE or changing the default browser. We definitely do not have a IE only mindset. We would love NOT to have to use it but unfortunately we have not been able to find any API libraries for HTTPS (SSL) communications. We were willing to pay thousands for them but NOBODY had them. IE gives them for free.

As far as FreeRealTime, we removed them from our list of sites, though we will give it out if requested. There are plenty of brokerage sites that give free quotes so you don't have to resort to the freebees.

If you do want to use a free site (other than FRT), you can always sign up for E*Trade "Member" account. Its their free service (no brokerage account needed) that lets you get unlimited real-time quotes among other things.

I think that if you download and try it, you will find that you will be pleasantly surprised. Our users swear by it.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at support@quotetracker.com. We respond the same day, though usually within minutes.

Sincerely,

Jerry Medved
