And isn't it always good to be a MSFT holder? Up days or down days, no sweat - longer term I don't worry.

Morgan, I wish i can become a long term MSFT investor. Instead, i sweat it out holding very risky options. Got caught off guard with yesterday's decline. Finally started moving out of options today. Still have lots of selling to do but getting a little nervous.
The one thing that made me comfortable was the increase in bearishness as pointed out by CNBC. That is a good contrarian indicator and helped me to relax.

Once i am done with my options, then it will be buy and hold. I trade so much because there are no tax consequences in retirement accounts and that is where i made money.

Though I agree with most of your points, Morgan, I do think that YHOO beating estimates AND whisper #s today is very important. If not for YHOO shareholders, certainly for most investors in other internet stocks.

I am confident, yet not completely bullish. I have *too much* money invested in the sector, and frankly, although the internet stocks have rebounded well these past two weeks, they are still substantially below their 52 week highs and I am getting nervous that would could be seeing a top in the Market unless these stocks regain serious momentum (another reason why the volume in the tech sector has bothered me of late) and start pushing towards new highs.

Let's wait and see...
