Thread.....REF: The deal with Acer announced today......> The story contained the following: Acer will start shipping 100,000 low-priced desktop and laptop computers to Dell each month in the first quarter of next year. I wonder exactly what are we talking about when we say low-priced. Interesting. I would guess that at the present time Dell does not have the facilities to produce these low-cost machines. If that is true I would think that farming them out to Acer would be a pretty good deal for Dell. If there is a market for these machines like we know there is let's go for it. It's ironic though that we have been hearing rumors about Dell building computers for IBM, and it turns around that Acer will now build machines for Dell. Will wonders never cease.....J.D. P.S. I heard from Dell IR Department today.....All is forgiven!

OFF TOPIC I can't stand her! I even went as far as to make up a few hundred T-Shirts that say, (on the front) "GO HOME HILLARY!" and on the back....... "You couldn't handle Bill, How are you gonna' handle New York?"
