This is a breakaway gap and is considered very bullish. More often than not, breakaway gaps are not filled. This type of gap usually completes a major basing pattern like an inverse head and shoulders bottom and breaks the neckline. To me, its not important to fill IMO.
In fact, it would be a negative if it filled.

While gaps are normally filled, they don't have to be. There is such
a gap in AOL's chart back in Dec when AOL was added to S&P 500. AOL
gapped up about 20 points on that news and that gap is still in the
chart never completely filled.
