Gone a little less than 2 weeks and 600 posts! Well, I slogged through them, and I see the beat goes on. Since little has happened despite the press releases, new financing, and conference call, we are forced to continue entertaining ourselves in our diverse ways while we wait.

I did hear the conference call via the internet (it worked fine, much to my surprise), and I have a comment and a question.

The comment: As others have noted, Lev and the others sounded confident and relaxed, given the circumstances. I got the impression that they continue along the path laid out at the shareholders' meeting, subject to the usual delays that frustrate but which must be expected. This is what I wanted to hear. I was also pleased to hear for the first time talk of sales and revenues sometime soon. That strikes me as progress.

The question: The presumed reason I was forced to listen to the conference call over the internet was that the phone lines would be occupied by hordes of analysts and other Street types. The upshot was that I expected a longer call and more questions than has characterized prior calls. Instead, the call lasted the usual 40 minutes, and the ever-present Hugh Covington was the principal questioner. Where was everyone else? I can understand that analysts new to the situation would hold back, but that doesn't seem to me to be sufficient explanation for the overall deafening silence. Any thoughts, anyone?
