I doubt you'll see anymore dual card SLI solutions. It's just too messy and too much of a hack. If they do SLI, my speculation is on a board which has multiple sockets which accept multiple processors. So you could start out with 2 processors and add 2 more down the road when you needed more speed. This solves a lot of timing issues, but does raise the board price, so you'll probably only see it on the high-end model. Again, pure speculation on my part...
