Theo,

Opinion from analysts from Merril and Goldman Sachs suggests that next round of court battle will be up hill for plaintiffs. It was easy to prove smoking is bad for you. Now they have to justify why those people smoke in spite of warnings.

FWIW, the talking heads seem to think it is factored in. So any selling will be the faint-hearted, not the seasoned institutional investors? I'm guessing that institutional investors who wanted out have done so already? Thus the question: how to identify a bottom? Will it be tomorrow? Have we already seen it in after hours?

Don't want to catch a falling knife (yada yada...), but would love to add shares cheap.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED...Theo is correct ...no damages awarded...

NOW the time is to search for some opportune PUT to SELL ...

Do Not fall for the hysteria...many have worked themselves

in a tizzy over this case. This is not the end of this case,

think about it, here is a jury asserting issues, that legitimate

medical science is unable to do. I.E., Tobacco is the cause of

of half dozen diseases, which the claimants on behalf of

several 100 thousand people in Florida...Rubbish...the assertion

is factually impossible in a legitimate scientific environment

to make. Yet, a judge, in this particular court with a group

of citizens seem to suggest that they (i.e., the jury ) can

make an statement which no scientific group could ever possibily

make. Again, one more time, the jury says that tobacco is the

cause of x,y,z,... which many 100 thousands of Florida suffer.

Now, let's go on...the fact that this civil procedure was even

allowed to proceed, I.E. a giant class action ... is of course,

contrary to the numerous previous cases, which have been reversed

by the higher courts...(and I will add ...there is recurring phrase

in the reversals .... "the reversal is in accordance with matter

of law"...or to that effect...

I hope you see, that this case is not the case which many have

been in such a going crazy . ....

Free advise, look to sell some Puts, or purchase more...

...your grandchildren will remember you by your wisdom....

more later,

dk
