*OT* This is nothing unusual for the River City. In early '80s, a guy named "Prince Mongo" ran for mayor and finished 3rd. "Prince Mongo's" claim-to-fame was his beautiful collection of garbage that piled up so long and so high in his front yard, the city sent him to jail....Nonetheless, he refused to clean up the mess, claiming that he was born on another planet, and frequently communicated in aliens..
He was once a feature story on NBC's "Real People".

Later, it was found out that "Prince Mongo", a.k.a. Robert Hodges, collected $50,000 from an insurance policy each year, but that he had to do something "nutty" to confirm his mental disability on a annual basis. He also had a fondness for streaking in the nude.

Before he discovered the Mother Lode, he was a nondescript delivery employee...he also was assistant coach of my brother's baseball team (seemed pretty normal at the time). Mr. Hodges in from Lebanon,(the country, not Tennessee) originally.

Mr. Lawler, a.k.a "the King", has a great chance <g> If I were the Memphis intelligensia, I would be shakin' in my boots...
