I wrote the same thing before I got to your post. Sorry for stealing "your" material! Of course the first time I heard that joke was in respect (or perhaps disrespect?) to Arthur Fiedler of the Boston Pops fame. After his death the line was, Now that Arthur Fiedler's dead, what is he doing? Answer (of course) Decomposing.
