What did I miss?

A virtual food fight.

Some other fights, some serious, some not. People threatening never to post to other people again, but then posting to them next day.

A bunch of insults.

A mass of hurt feelings.

A few (a very few) almost funny jokes.

Oh, and in the 1600 posts perhaps 10 worth reading, one of them perhaps even from me.

The more things change.

Well, let's see, Joan, X, JP and I got Barrett and Hodgkins to admit that males are more prone to violent crime than females, that took about two days, and when they finally had their backs to the wall, they started blaming lower socio-economic men as the culprits.

We had more days than anyone could really stand of Barrett and Hodgkins oinking at each other.

We had a couple of new people drop by, Achilles and Starfish, but Achilles ran afoul of Terrence and beat a steady retreat, and Starfish seems to have got the attention of Barrett. FT is on a rant about all human activity being motivated by greed and rage, or some such, and he pops up from time to time spouting.

Joan, X and Penni were clever beyond belief, and Lather alternated between cadging grubs and being unbearably witty.

Christine seems to be preoccupied lately, although she was in full form this past weekend. I think it was mostly about religion and guns, but most of the religious nuts have been absent lately.

Nihil has been causing trouble.

Edwarda has been semi-absent, she's preoccupied.

E's computer broke down, and now she is on vacation.

JP and Melinda wandered by from time to time, being the voices of sanity in the wilderness.

Ish made a brief appearance in support of the oinking, but cleverly retreated when the Sisterhood started wailing on the MCPs.

Lao-Tse and some of the others opined about teenage sex, that was a while back, don't know if you were around for that.

How long ago did you leave?

And, even more important, how are you and what are you up to?
