Truedog, you might be interested to know that about a year ago the Creek Nation began building several businesses down around Okmulgee on highway 75. They built a large truck stop thats got a Burger King in it and there is a smoke shop attached to it. I know there were other things on the drawing board, but I haven't been down that way in a year so I don't know how its progressed. When I was in Tallequah last week I noticed the Cherokee Nation was involved in similar things, but they seem to have been at it a while. It goes to show that tribes don't have to be in the casino business to prosper.
