You missed the point. The issue was on-line storage
and its future growth requirements due to e-commerce.
I was just relaying something which I happened to know
about affirming what another poster has speculated.

Discussing different companies such as EMC, Ancor,
Brocade, Seagate, etc., in the same breath does not
necessarily detract from the SI discussion of a specific
stock. In fact, I think comparisons can add to our
overall knowledge and comfort. For example, I brought
up the speculation that QLogic might be the best pure
FC play in town when Ancor was roughly $1/share. I
added that QLogic and Emulux might be precursor stocks
bound to go up a good six months before a switch maker
like Ancor. In reality, I was trying to cheer myself
but got a dozen private messages agreeing with the analysis
which caused me to buy more Ancor instead of selling.

Be happy :-)

BlueCrab I happen to have liked the information that Technocrat posted. This is not an Anchor for you to rub your barnacles on. It is Ancor. They make Fibre Channel switches for Storage Area Networks, and one of the fasted growing areas of storage area networks is the internet. So speculation on what could fuel that growth seems highly relevant to me.

Cheers
