Simply put, these services are STILL not ready for prime time. They will not "cross the chasm" until they are. "It's a recreational service...we don't guarantee 'on' time" is what 2 @HOME tech support people told me today. Hmmm, seems that "contradicts" the "always on" claims that headline all their marketing junk. They've gotta stop with the lame excuses and put up or shut up. I suggest the latter since they obviously can't deliver on the former. Most of all, they've got to VOLUNTARILY give fair and equitable credits. To have to argue through several layers of people for 45 minutes (mostly hold time) is beyond ridiculous. None of this will happen, of course, because they've got the "monopoly disease."
