Senor Speedy -

Have been spamming FFIV dd everywhere

That doesn't boast well for a stock if it need spam to rise--always kills in the end. I think most should rise on their own merits, but everybody has their own opinions. Spam away, but be careful of SI Spam Jail and Mama Bear. They like busting Spammers and especially the ones that admit to it! LOL

Anyways, getting back on the subject,

I'll turn it over to our good buddy Steve Harmon (Mr Inet Guru himself! LOL)

fnews.yahoo.com

Digital Island, Or Gilligan's Island?

"Steve, what do you think of Digital Island (NASDAQ:ISLD - news) , will it be able to compete with Exodus (NASDAQ:EXDS - news) or others?"

Reply: I like private global network services Digital Island's roster of 62 customers, its global outlook and suite of services including co-location, outsourced hardware, and other offerings. Digital Island's clients include Cisco, E*TRADE, Mastercard, Novell, National Semiconductor among others.

Revenue is ramping with six months to March 31, 1999 of $3.8 million vs. $691k the prior year period. *****Losses were $14.9 million which I can see with its global expansion plans in place. ****

Keyword- GLOBAL

I don't know if you have noticed it yet, but Inets don't move on earnings, they move on Revenues. And a 900% increase, which hasn't really been talked about much, is a decent move, IMO.

I see how you can be more favorable towards FFIV because you own it, but don't take the popularity of ISLD and use it to spam FFIV. Let it rise on its own merits. You already have analysts following your stock. Let us have our chance!

Agree, disagree?

To those who just joined this board. Here's more info on ISLD compared to the competition:

Revenues (3 months March end):
EXDS - $30.0M up 423%
ABOV - $ 3.8M up 400%
ISLD - $ 2.4M up 582%

Float:
EXDS - 35.4M = $4.62B
ABOV - 24.9M = $1.02B
ISLD - 6.0M = $0.19B

There is still a huge upside potential on this stock. Float is very low. This is not a flash in the pan like another goto, srch, koop, or askj that pray for large visitors to get their revenues. ISLD has already proven they can generate exponential revenues and get first tier customers. ISLD is a buyout candidate as you can read everywhere in the net. Intel already announced they are going into this market. IBM is sourcing. Worldcom, Sprint, AT&T, and baby bells are lurking. This is about world domination. It is the next big wave and whoever will be in this space will control the network, data storage, the flow of information, and the internet....

It is never too late on this stock. Jump on...
