>>Fix default cursor focus upon first display of page....

When I display a chart page the blinking cursor appears in the GO box making it impossible to page down or use backspace to navigate.

Can you 'unfocus' the cursor when a chart page is displayed so navigation keys work like other webpages?

I haven't checked other areas of the beta site for the problem, maybe someone can audit things :)

This problem doesn't appear in a message page as the cursor is 'unfocused' when the page is displayed.

It appears the column formatting is different depending on how you get to the same messages....

"Subject Reply List"
beta.siliconinvestor.com

"Previous 40"
beta.siliconinvestor.com

I like the latter narrower formatting as it fits my 2/3 wide browser screen positioning but looks a little crowded vertically and needs a few more pixels of spacing between lines (dates are two lines high here)

The first one is too wide in medium font... I miss the dates on the right end (they are three lines high here)

Actually a compromise between the two might be good :)

Of course all this is dependant upon the font being used... I'm using "Comic Sans MS" font in my browser....

Bryan, what end user font & size are you targeting?

Re flush-right navigation links.

I mentioned this before, but now offer an example to show you what I mean. I think it would be both more efficient and more attractive if the navigation links for a message were listed flush right in the message space.

Efficiency. Putting the "Next" button flush with the scroll bar requires less mouse movement when reading messages. A mouse pointer on the scroll bar now needs to be moved across the page to get to the next button. It would be moved only a few pixels if the "Next" link were set flush right.

Visual borders: In the example below, notice that the white border on each side of the message also appears above and below the prime part of the message when the navigation links are moved. This has the effect of highlighting the already well-highlighted message even more.

Here's the example: halcyon.com
