CJ - when I spoke with CBay at ~2:30 today they said that NASD would be sending the paperwork before COB today, but that trading would not commence until tomorrow. If they got the paperwork today, they could start tomorrow whenever they choose. Since some folks are seeing ANYI in their quotes, that likely means the paperwork went through since it wa basically to confirm to CBay that ANYI was ready to be traded. The CBay guy said that they will post the first quote/trade, and that will officially kick off trading. Until then, no trading - and possibly no orders can be made except through CBay. They have orders already, mostly buys ranging as high as $22. Those of us who don't have CBay accounts will have to wait until our brokers can place our orders after trading begins, which IMO will exclude most of us from and "cheap" or "easy" shares at the very beginning. CBay said many of the quotation services will take a few days before they'll pick up ANYI, he said Bloomberg will be a good bet for seeing when ANYI begins trading. Otherwise you can call CBay, but they'll probably be swamped with calls tomorrow a.m. anyway. CBay didn't say anything about their "strategy" and they have no plans to coordinate with Herzog as far as I could tell. The Herzog guys are just waiting fo trading to begin so they can fill the orders they have (mostly buys I'd guess). Hope that helps - IMO ANYI will begin trading early tomorrow with very light volume, probably at a high price >$10 but <$22. Until more orders can be made things could be VERY volatile and hard to measure, which will certainly make BANY interesting. The MMs appear to be trading BANY very cautiously, they're not filling large orders, which keeps them from getting caught short or holding shares. IMO they know thing could turn on a dime with ANYI -pretty dangerous.
