Emile,

It is your rhetoric that helps to create the very climate that leads to the type of situation we saw last weekend. It is laughable that you think this brings you closer to any God, let alone Jesus.

Emile;

I know NOTHING about Talmudic Judaism. What does that have to do with being JEWISH. You keep ranting about Talmudic Judaism over and over. We all know the Talmud was created by man and its NOT the word of God.

When you raise Christ and the Church above the Star of David, then I will feel better.

The above statement is so ridiculous it doesn't deserve a reply. As far as the CHURCH that statement is a loose cannon at best. Yes Emile you are Christ does that make you feel better.

In all seriousness, Emile---somewhere along the line you've gotten side-tracked. Go back to Campus Crusade and let Bill Bright get you back on-track as far as where our emphasis should be.
If the respondents to your postings are only 10% right, that should be enough to slow you down. If the respondents are 50% or more right, that should be enough to make you stop. There is enough to post about regarding Christianity, Bible, Creation, Evolution, Abortion, etc. without harping on one tune regarding Koestler's theory. After all, IT IS A THEORY.
Last week's postings and the answers you got with documentation should
be an eye-opener.

"The Talmud Unmasked" UNMASKED! Time to junk that hoary old fraud!

The folks on this thread already know -- and no doubt are weary unto death of -- "quotations" from the Talmud, most of which, in turn, have been drawn from a disreputable work of "scholarship" produced more than 100 years ago (in Russia, of course) by one I. B. Pranaitis. A brief "bio" of Pranaitis:

geocities.com

Anyway, this piece of work, known as "The Talmud Unmasked: The Secret Rabbinical Teachings Concerning Christians," has been spammed by every cyberspace neo-Nazi group all over the net, including SI.

Now, finally, someone has published a point-by-point refutation of it, in two parts:

geocities.com

Here is some more material, in what appears to be an earlier and shorter version of the above:

geocities.com

Of course, some quotations merely demonstrate that Judaism, like Christianity and Islam, was an "exclusive" religion. So what else is new? But the bulk of the quotations are inventions, misunderstandings, misquotations, or mistranslations. A few examples (from the above):

CLAIM
"To communicate anything to a goy about our religious relations would be equal to the killing of all Jews, for if they knew what we teach about them they would kill us openly." - Libbre David 37.

RESPONSE
Total balderdash, there is no such statement at all, and there is no such book. E.S.

CLAIM
"A Jew may do to a non-Jewess what he can do. He may treat her as he treats a piece of meat." - Hadarine, 20, B; Schulchan Aruch, Choszen Hamiszpat 348.

RESPONSE
This is of course poppycock, there is no such source called Hadarine, while the chapter in Choshen Mishpat 348:2 states clearly that one may not steal from a gentile exactly as one may not steal from a fellow Jew. E.S.

CLAIM
"When the Messiah comes every Jew will have 2800 slaves." - Simeon Haddarsen, fol. 56-D.

RESPONSE
There is no such source. However, we find a talmudic statement relating to the spiritual afterlife allegorically that there will be no need for toil in the spiritual world, as one who has a large amount of slaves does not need to toil, thus so to speak angels will execute our errands. Another Talmudic statement which might have incited the ignoramus is that in the messianic times every Jew will have 2800
disciples from among the nations who will wish to learn from him the ways of the Torah. E.S.

CLAIM
"A Gentile girl who is three years old can be violated."- Aboda Sarah 37a.

RESPONSE
Apparently a deliberate misquote. The observation is a technical, physiological one, regarding the impurities related to genital "flows" as outlined in Leviticus chapter 15. The Talmudic source argues that since the tearing of the hymen at that age would be permanent (as distinct from a younger girl whose hymen the rabbis believed would grow back), she is considered to have reached a state of physical development that her discharges would be included under the category of impure flows according to the Biblical purity laws. (The same rule, by the way, would apply to a Jewish girl). This is of course not a permission to "violate" the girl, merely a legal definition of her age. Anyone who wants to refute this refutation had first better brush up on his Hebrew & Aramaic & whatever other languages/disciplines he needs to know. I see little chance of your being up to the task, Emile.
