The one-way hub to customer requirement is imposed by
the FCC to avoid interference with satellites using
the same band. So compression is not the issue.

Actually, if Shant was really committed to building a
business, he would use the $50M to bid at the 39Ghz
auction. I would bet that prices at the auction will
show that NXLK grossly overpaid for the 150MHz it
bought from SPDE (with inside track for the remaining 150MHz).
$50M should be a nice footprint in the Northeast for a
savvy bidder. However, I strongly doubt the $50M will
be used for this purpose. Salary increases for the CEO
and his buddies, stock options, and other perks are
probably in the cards.

The current valuations awarded to SPDE and MCOM are
unmistakable signs of a market top for wireless
properties.
