The only time I use my AOL account is when I have a cable outage (or when I am out of town) So, I basically use AOL to 'backup' my cable modem. I pay the minimum $4/month for 3hours/month (I think!) However, whenever people ask me about getting on the internet, I tell them to get AOL because I think it is good for 'beginners' and also because you can get a local AOL number from almost anywhere in the country. --Olu E. Sherry, I'm not a "techie", but I am a 4-year Internet user, and I just don't get the AOL message. I want high-speed Internet for the best possible price. I also would like to buy products and services on the Web, at the best prices. In order for AOL to continue to be successful, they will have to meet this criteria. The question is, can they do it? (Everything else they offer is just recreational and won't afford them the profits they need.) (Aforementioned is all in my opinion.) dc
