COMS - one more tidbit -
- they just formed a partnership called OpenSky for wireless internet access and email. They recently launched Palm.net, a wireless service that aggregates and clips web content for the Palm VII, and they are looking at expanding their web strategy: "I think it makes sense to align ourselves with a portal." said Janice Roberts, Sr. VP - Marketing.

SH, Thanks for sharing info on COMS. . .they have become the Rodney of large cap high-techs. . . .Expecting a wireless broadband unit from them, too. . . EDIT: Oooops, I see you covered that. Great.

CPQ is another that I have been liking ever since they received a major equity stake in CMGI. . .which I see as infinitely more valuable than AltaVista ever could have been, due to the diversification that is built into the stock.

CPQ has gained some ground since we tired of it a while back.
