more alliances......AOL Forms Alliance With MXG Media To Provide Teen-Oriented Content NEW YORK -- America Online Inc. and MXG Media Inc. Wednesday announced a two-year, content-sponsorship and commerce alliance. America Online (AOL) said MXG will receive "prominent" placement on its flagship service and AOL.com, Netcenter and CompuServe services. MXGonline will be an anchor tenant in the teen products area of America Online's Shopping Channel. MXGonline will also have a presence in the shoes and accessories departments and will also be a sponsor in the teen lifestyles area on AOL, Netcenter Teens and Netcenter Music Channels. Separately, America Online and iOwn Inc. formed a multimillion, multiyear marketing and electronic-commerce alliance. The online mortgage company will exclusively provide mortgage aggregation services in the Netcenter and Digital City Mortgage Centers and Real Estate areas. The mortgage-related services of iOwn will also be available on a nonexclusive basis in other finance-related areas of Netcenter and Digital City. iOwn will offer real-time mortgage rates and other home finance services.
