What's your current thinking on GUMM? I just caught up on the thread and decided not to play it until the fall sales figures are in. Lots of Wal-mart shoppers may buy it regardless of its efficacy.

Otherwise a lot of the signs for a classic short are there. And why aren't major pharms bankrolling this deal if it will sell so well? GUMM can only get nickel and dime deals from no-name investors.

Wexler initiates coverage of Ace Cash Express (AACE) with a STRONG SELL/SHORT SELL recommendation.

Quality of earnings is (very) questionable. I also believe that these types of businesses will come under increasing regulatory pressure. The stock will easily get cut in half.

Bill,,

I was surprised and delighted to notice your STRONG SELL recommendation on, of all things, Duane Reed (DRD). All I know is every time I go into one of their stores I either get into a fight --- or witness one,,, frequently loud ones between two-to-five disgruntled employees bearing a modicum of English. Often the fights are edged on by some kind of foul smell or lack of ventilation.

This store sets low standards and consistently fails to achieve them. If the average Duane Reed employee's IQ got as high as 40, I would sell. The company is depriving villages somewhere of idiots.

Just curious: where'd you come up with this? I'd like nothing more than to have the last laugh on the cheap bastards.

What goes? Should I move my prescription somewhere else...?

bye,
.k
