aol - i still see aol as a powerhouse with its cash and reach; 17m aol subs; 2m compuserve subs; 30+m aol.com users/month; 35m icq users; 20+m netscape.com users

and bob pittman comes from cable (mtv) so i think they eventually sign an alliance or acquire a cable outlet, unless steve case angers the cable cowboys with his lobbying to open cable wires
