BW: Eric was not the one cooking books, it was the Robber barons over at USR. They pushed all of their inventory on the shelves and told Eric "look at our sales!". Eric's problem was that he didn't audit USR's claims correctly. Also all of the big USR cheese's dumped their stock as soon as they could before the investors could figure out they had been screwed. Now we are just waiting for one of the big Japanese companies to buy 3com out.
