SANTA ANA, Calif., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is being issued by Donner Corporation International, a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, CRD number 37702.

Donner Corp. International, an Investment Banking firm headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., today upgraded its recommendation on Carbite Golf Inc. (Vancouver: CAB - news), San Diego, Calif., to Buy from Speculative Buy. Carbite Golf produces the very popular Polar Balanced Series Putters, which do not twist with an off-center hit, significantly decreasing the possibility of a putt going in the wrong direction or losing distance. It also produces other clubs, which allow even the amateur to improve their score, based on the Company's proprietary powder metallurgy technology.

The Donner report says golfers are willing to pay more for equipment if it will improve their game. The report says that Carbite Golf uses infomercials, public product demonstrations and direct response advertising to make the golfing community aware of its unique, effective clubs.

''Carbite's application of basic metallurgical science to the development and manufacturing of golf clubs sets this company apart from the others in this field,'' the Donner report says. For instance, the Polar Balanced Putters are manufactured utilizing a patented high-pressure diffusion process that fuses together dissimilar metals into a single club. Carbite utilizes lightweight titanium or aluminum in the hitting area of the putter and heavier, high-density tungsten in the heel and toe, reducing resistance to twisting by 60 percent compared to today's most popular club designs.

The Donner report says Carbite Golf's wedges include a ''friction enhancing insert which provides a distinct advantage for golfers at various skill levels, enhancing the softness of feel and increasing playability.''

''Over 80 professional golfers have used Carbite technology including the winner of the U.S. Open this year and in 1998 Carbite technology was found in the golf bags of the winners of all four major tours, the British Open, the U.S. Open, the Master's Championship and the PGA Championship. None of the golfers were compensated for using these clubs,'' the Donner report said, meaning that golfers use the clubs because they can win with them.

''We believe Carbite stock is undervalued considering the superiority of its products, its record sales in 1998 and continued strong sales in 1999, and the sound marketing strategy the Company has in place,'' the Donner report concluded.

Copies of the report are available from Donner Corporation at 1-800-324-6050.
