Steve, re: IPO's, the speculative frenzy surrounding recent internet related IPO's is truly amazing. look at the financials of e.g. JNPR or ASKJ and then look at their respective market caps, it's really incredible. a sign of the times no doubt, where momentum begets momentum in a complete disconnect from reality. while the ultimate fate of such ponzi schemes is always the same, it is still astounding how human nature leads to a repetition of past excesses with such unwavering regularity. to me this is the equivalent of the investment trusts of the 1920's which were traded at the curb. needless to say, not one of them survived.

regards,

hb

Steve,
And as long as "Da Fed" is allowed to print "monopoly money" with no backing except "trust", this bull party could go on for another few centuries. <VBG> Seriously, it's sick out there and getting sicker in my jaded opinion. When the "sheet" finally does hit the proverbial fan, it will make the food fight mess in "Animal House" look like a few crumbs fell on the floor! Yogi
