Indeed.....just how did GS come to change their opinion re: the 1 penny. Their oh so brilliant analysis......or..... a phone call from the top? and so close to the qtr report too. not to mention all of those millions of shares which traded without published news. did the holders of those shares come up with a motive for selling all on their own.

Just wondering....and like the stock.....wandering.

Joel

Anyone care to speculate who might be a good marriage partner for ptc..... (of course it would be a shotgun wedding)... who, if it were to happen, would be the most likely suitor for buying ptc??

regards

Joel

(....What may have happened is that the requirements kept changing because leadership didn't really know what they were doing, and the product that exists today does not have enough meat to land the sales that we all expected by now. )

(I Don't know how to do the italics thing..)
As I understand WC, They know what the product is that they want to build, and believe that it is so good that it sells itself. I wouldn't bet against J. Heppelmann, the guy who developed windchill. He is supremely confident, and has the intellect to back it up. This isn't to say that WC can fill the void of earnings....
I don't own a share of this stock....

(I said I was speculating about the failing of the WC development team as the company tells analysts what is going on but never tells shareholders much of anything, as witness the GS post, and the typical every quarter recurrent SEC insider info complaint threats that get posted here.)

I've seen what you mean, but the WC development team hardly has a say in what the company puts out...
