I think, in the ultimate analysis, the settlement offered by the companies to the state attorneys-general will stand. Because sooner or later, the lawsuit-happy idiots will realize that there are a whole bunch of other opportunistic vultures flying along with them, and if they all get a little too greedy, then they will all end up with nothing!
