i thought we were discussing the same thing... you said, "One exception: I couldn't install SystemWorks with Tweak-UI influencing my system although SystemWorks and Tweak-UI co-operate OK once installed." i was piggy-backing on that statement. and me, persistent? <g3> i have to be. this medium is responsible for a lot of misinterpretation. it's essential to state things clearly, or to go back in again and again until it becomes clear. nice thing about this thread is that it is focused on learning and helping, and so we don't see any of the flaming that prevails in so many other spots. i just always get the feeling that there are a million lurkers out there who have questions but are afraid to ask... often because they feel the question is so basic that they should know the answer. thank you too for being patient enough to accommodate persistence. :) mark
