Robert, I'm not sure what you are asking, or what you're saying. If Checkfree is confident that it alone can do what it does best (biller aggregation/pay anyone) then doesn't it make sense to commit to continuing to provde these services to pfms, banks and portals, rather than striking out on a fourth strategy. 1. originally, billpay direct to consumers & through PFM providers; 2. To consumers through remarketing/service agreements with banks and bank software providers; 3. to consumers through portals, and then to 4. as a portal/bank itself. Seems to me their best shot is to continue to do 1,2,and 3, and do them well. Ultimately being positioned to take on more business from each group as those that try to do what Checkfree does realize that they can't do those things themselves well, and can't individually achieve the scale economies that CKFR can.
