Goto is same place as HotBot since they both use Inktomi as their engine. I can see some reporters deciding (mistakenly) that Goto isn't a search engine because of the bidding for position process, but that's overlooking the fact that once you get past the bids (or if there are no bids, or if you do a complicated search like '+shingles -roof -house -construction +disease' then Goto is just a normal Inktomi search engine.

Northern Light: 16.0
Snap: 15.5
Altavista: 15.5
HotBot: 11.3

Shall I consider today a profit taking episode, again? (Confused) This is very low volume, and not to much movement at all. Also, I would have thought the I-Net's would have a bigger day today due to YAHOO's #'s after the bell yesterday. IMO, the better day for I-net stocks will be tomorow, but we need the Naz to help, and you know how the Naz performs on Fridays(yuck!).. Good luck..

I believe when the study was done, GoTo was relatively a small company and their search engine was still in the works and not fully developed.
