Follow-up Question, or More Correctly Answer: AGAIN WITH ARNOLD FROM HAPPY DAY'S ACCENT Sir, the 380,000,000 figure is the total number of email accounts not the number of users which has been more closely estimated at 100,000,000. (Provides simple example.) For instance I have 7 email accounts even though I am one person. Follow-up Answer: CRICKET SOUNDS

Listening to the conference call, I was struck by how little Cook knew about the competition or the target market. Many times he was asked to contrast ZitMail/ZitCharge with existing solutions, and he couldn't do it. He simply didn't know anything about the existing products. When he was asked about key escrow, Cook made a remark along the lines of, "unless you're an international terrorist you shouldn't care whether the NSA can read your email", which tells me he didn't do any market research. Keyword: Clipper. Cook disclosed that this Zix stuff came about when CustomTracks purchased a (one-person?) company in LA last December that was working on some cryto software.
