Know much about PCI-X, Ali? I've been reading more and more about it, and it seems that this protocol addresses a lot of limitations of the PCI 2.2 spec, including the bandwidth efficiency (i.e. devices don't have to hog the bus retrying like crazy, etc.)

Of course, PCI-X is twice as complicated as PCI, but that's the price to pay, I guess.
