Will AMD be able to play Intel's game, by keeping bigger guns in the closet, and bringing them out only when Intel almost catches up?

Makes me wonder why AMD needed to announce lower speed grades like 500 MHz or 550 MHz. It's not like AMD will need to underclock anything, since at the initial low volumes they'll be able to sell every 600 MHz part they make at prices higher than they're actually going to charge.
