If an offer is coming, I think we'll see it before the end of the year - perhaps even as early as before the end of summer. If I were deBeers, I'd be formulating my offer now and just waiting to plug in the numbers after the results come in from the next bulk. The decision to make an offer, has likely already been determined. Actually, if I were deBeers, I'd make the offer now before the next bulk results while the stock price is still low. But, I'll be quite happy if they wait until the stock price is much higher before they make an offer.
